Today was a beach day. On Saturday Bert said we were defiantly going for coffee or something on the Monday. Yeah! So we hoped in the yellow Corolla and away we went. It seems to be our style to start out with no particular place in mind. The "no particular place" turned out to be the beach front at Norlunga. It is a little surfie town about a 20 minute drive south of Adelaide. Tiny little place with one or two gift shops, a barber shop, half a dozen coffee shops, and yes....several surf shops. It was about 70ish, and the water was freezing, but that didn't stop the school kids.
Ahh, the day to relax.

This is a Stump Tail who was gaurding the trail we were on. Apparently he is one of the few non- "deadly" wildlife forms in Australia. :)
Bert just goofing off with the camera

Kids get to do some surfing for a school outing, what a life!
Teach them how it is done, preacher boy.

Great post, glad you had a fun day out. Always good for the soul.
What fun! Who were you defying though? Was somebody meanly denying you the privilage of going to the beach? :) My 'beach day' is coming this weekend when we (Evie, Brittany, and I) head to Louisville for the U.S Arabian Nationals. I'm going regardless of how much work there is to do.
What fun...everybody needs a beach day! If I had some sand in the living room every rainy day would be a beach day, but not in the good way. Love you
Hey cous! What a great reminder...take time to run down a hill, dance in the rain, stomp in a puddle, or relax in the sun! Life needs to include such things :)

I miss you
hey Kryna - it's snowing here today and I check up on you and you are on the beach - how cool is that - thanks for all the pictures - hope to visit with you at Thanksgiving - if not I will keep in touch this way - what a neat deal and fun to see all you are up to. Love ya - Belinda
More posts please:)
Those few days when school and work can be left behind to go goof off together are the BEST.
