It is strange how the things that are the nearest to where you live, get passed by. Thirty miles up the road from our house, is a little sign that says Ch...somethingIcantpronounce Gorge. Small sign. Smaller car park. From the road, there is not even a trace of a gorge. But then....
No bottom in sight...
From the top of the gorge to the bottom, is something like 400ish feet.
Finally cought him on film...
One of the falls that feed into the gorge...
On a compleately differnt note....who can pass up bovine on the beach?

Amazing! The rewards of taking the road less traveled eh?
How did we miss that? I thought we hit every road around you. Glad you and Bert took the time to check this out. Nice of the cows to pose for you. They are very sweet.
How gorgeous - so fun to see all the different places with you - thanks for sharing!!
...cows on a beach, what a concept. Just think, if that was a possibility in Iowa, I could have "gone to get" them for milking AND gotten a bit of a tan...that would have been cool. Love the photos...thanks for sharing that lovely world where you live.
I like your bovine, your bovine look sweet where as American bovine just look kind of well, stupid. Love ya
Hah, I have a pic to show that highland or not, all bovine are still bovine!
