Day to Day

It seem like it is about time document everyday life around here. And by that, I mean mostly my part of our life....hehe. Bert of course spends a good amount of his time in his study, but I don't tend to bug him with the camera when he is busy there.

This is my office. The fish-on-stick on the floor to the right and my dear sweet nephew's picture keep me company. I have photos of James and Ellie together now, so I must update my company....

My favorite beverage in the Starbucks mug Net gave me. You can't see it so much here, but the mug could double as a bowl. Just the way I like it!

On Monday mornings we go through the pics from the last wedding shoot, Bert develops them, and then I start the editing.

Yesterday I ironed the mountain of Bert's shirts that had been tormenting me from their corner for weeks. I discovered there were some long sleeved ones in there too...honest. That was how long it had been.

It actually feels like summer now. It isn't that hot, but it is warm and sunny. I love how you can see the community in the summer. Very often on the weekend evenings
trucks/vans/SUV's (anything you can open the back and sit in) back up in the Tim Horton's parking lot facing the road. Everybody has a red Timmy's cup in their hand and they sit there chatting away. It reminds me a little bit like a different version of the 'cruising' that would happen in towns around us when we were growing up in Arkansas. Summer socializing.
