Tea or Coffee?

Ok, it is cold here today! We had soup for lunch and tea & coffee cups are piling up in the sink. It was after doing the lunch dishes that I realized....and please tell me if you do the same.....I have favorite cups. The funny thing is, they are not the same ones for coffee and tea. Bert isn't so fussy. Just give him the largest mug possible and he is a happy man.

But here are my favorites.

For coffee....
special garage sale find....
a Starbucks from Netter.....

a cute one from Mom....

For tea....
both of these awesome ones are from Mom....

from the Partick Church in Glasgow.....
a gift from a dear friend in Scotland...
So that's it. Lots of cream in the coffee and lots of milk in the tea. Yum.

Yeah--I have favorites. One that dad picked up while doing sowers in Tx. and a mug I got candy in for a gift. Then we rinse them and rinse them and rinse them. Leave them by the coffee pot and maybe once a week (when I do the rest of the dishes) dump them in the dishwasher.

None for Tea tho.--That's on the extinct list

You sure have some cute ones in all sizes and shapes..

Nice! I shattered my last 'favorite' mug a day or 2 ago. :-( But the good news is, I've been itchin' to buy some Bodum glass cups anyhow. So now I have an excuse. I had a guy tell me quite seriously that coffee tastes better in glass versus any other material. So I aim to prove him right! adr

Oh those cups are treasures!
Yes, I too have my favourite cups/mugs, but they are not as fancy as yours! I'll have to keep a look out here for a special 'Kryna' mug from South Africa...that's an idea, isn't it?
lots of love to you both

Dad and I each have our own favorite cup. And then the 2nd favorite if the first one is dirty. Crasy huh? Our styles are way different also. His cup tends to be shorter, thin material and a certain handle. Mine are bothe med. tall, thin and tapering wider to the top, med thick material and very smooth. Both it also depends on the weather and what you are drinking.

I have a fave too. Recieved it from someone very special who is no longer in my life. Glad to have it as it brings back good memories of her every time I use it.

I only use it for herbal tea or hot choc. None of that pond water for me!! lol
