Our car has started making a funny sound/vibration. It hasn't been going on long, but yesterday we were in the car a little longer than usual and it really was getting Bert's attention. My immediate thought is, "Call Dad!" "Hello, this is Gerrit, " I said.
Bert was like, "What in the world are you doing?"
"Well, I was just pretending you were calling dad, and he is going to ask you all these questions...is it a 'pinging', or a 'dinging'....when you turn right, or left....when you step on the brake or the gas.... You know, just making sure you will think of what he is going to ask you. " was my very serious response.
To this, Bert starts rolling with laughter. He said he had that all figured out and he would have asked the same questions.
Ok, so that is what is like to be a guy.
It took me years to figure this out. I would always just call dad and be like, "Dad, my car has a probleeeemmm....what do you think it is?" Cause he is going to know from a million miles away right?!?

It's great being married to the guy. I have learned a few things over the years just watching and helping but I still leave it all to him.
Oh by the way, just give him a call. He just loves that stuff.
Of course he'll know whats wrong with it! Have you ever had a problem he couldn't solve? He's the best daddy EVER! Oh by the way your ehining paid off, I finally posted. All for you I hope you know.
