Somewhere on the Isle of Skye.

This was the ruins of a church and graveyard on the western side of Skye.



One night we stayed over in Gerry's Hostel in Achnashellach. It was an older house turned into a hostel. Gerry was of course the owner and has run it there for over 40 years. It is pretty much out in a secluded part of the Highlands. Most of the people that stay there are hill walkers. Gerry built a warm fire in the main room and we sat around talking to the other people. It was fun. Gerry also had his record player on in the background. He said it would be there as long as he was there.
