Down Under (Part I)

I am a bit of a slow coach here in getting pictures up or any post for that matter.....for months! But especially of our trip to Australia. We made it safely back from our four week trip a little over a week ago. It was great to spend time with Bert's family. We had enough time to be able to relax with each other, go on a holiday...on our holiday, go for walks, and do a little sight seeing. Thank you everyone for making our trip special!
My parents came to visit us just after Christmas (I should have posted about that too, we had a blast!:). This was a shot just as we headed out the door to the airport.
We were greeted upon arrival by a big furry Koala Bear aka Bert's Dad! I don't think anybody in the airport missed it!
This is beach just down from their house. It was summer when were were there. Mild warm weather. Almost everyone commented how easy were had it with the mild weather!
There is a beautiful board walk along the cliffs that leads down to the beach from Bert's parent's house. We went for walks quite often and this is one of my favorite spots.

Satisfying the inner boy....

Just some random back ally....

Bert and I head just down the road to Hallet Cove area for a little walk one afternoon. The rock formations are breathtaking.

At some abandoned house along the beach....

This is at the little conservation park just a couple blocks from their house. Bert and Tony went walking with their cameras one evening and came back with some great shots.

The Aussie sunsets are amazingly vibrant in color.

And more will follow.....
