Early Gardening Efforts

Last week I thought I would try something new....for me. I picked up some seeds (for plants that have to be started inside) and planted them in flats. Thankfully things watched, do grow. :)

A week and a half later. It looks like re-potting time. I have no idea what I ma doing, but it is kinda fun. The peppers were the late bloomers.

I think we have plenty of cabbage....

The Last of Aussie Trip

Blogger is being very naughty just now. It is underlining everything with color! I just realized that I hadn't posted the rest of the pics. So here they are. Tony going though old family pics with Bert. Not so impressed!
Overlooking Victor Harbor.

"Scanning" the negatives.
The dust free set up for the negatives.
Sunset over the jetty.
We took a little walk down the jetty with Bert's Mum and Dad the night before we left. It was a beautiful summer night.
We cleaned out the storeroom and workshop and then made a trip to the dump.

There was even Vegemite at MacDonald's!

The day before we left, Tony, Bert, and I went out to Belair National Park and did a little sketching. Well Bert and Tony did. I am not the artist of the group that is for sure!

At the airport just before we left.
The double decker flight we were on. Very comfy!

Aussie Trip (Part II)

This was just some random road between Adelaide and Robe, where we went on vacation....on our vacation. Bert and I took off a two days before the rest of the crew who were finishing up business at home.
I have no idea where this is but it was beautiful!

Bert and I went bush walking one of those days. We walked along this road, though sand dunes, and eventually made it to the ocean.

This was the house we stayed in. Awesome little spot with tons of room.
Waling on the beach when everyone arrived.
Bert and Tony looked like this for a good portion of the time...
The coffee shop we went to everyday was also a new and used book shop. Very very cute.

Bert and his Mum.
Bert's parent's pastor and his wife were able to join of for a couple days. Great fellowship here over a cup of tea....
The boys showing off their mad art skills...

Getting ready to give kite surfing a try....
This was out by Lake George. It was prefect for kite surfing. I played it safe and stayed by the car with the camera.
The guy didn't get hurt....
This loo was made from an old water tank....
Another little coffee shop...

I think Bert is ready for his coffee....

More from our walk ( I am having a hard time getting the pics in the right order!)

Hard to believe but there are still more.....
