Last week we headed out to New Jersey for the wedding of Bert's best buddy, Terry. (I will post a couple from the wedding shortly).
As part of the perks of being out on the East Coast, we hit the City for a few hours. Aaron and Meg met us in NJ (he was a groomsman as well) and we had a great time! They drove out from Michigan durring the night on Thursday, we trotted into the city almost as soon as they arrived Friday morning, Friday night was the wedding rehearsal, and then Saturday after Terry and Martha's wedding, they jetted back to GR. Not bad.
Even the leaves are cool!
In the Big Apple....hahaha....
Even made it into one of the shops. If Aaron had been carring a bag that day, I would definatly have checked it over. He was covinting those copper pans pretty bad... :)
We had a absolute blast. It is good to spend time with Ern and Meg.

What a bunch of good looking kids. You didn't even look like tourist. I can't believe Meg touched that bike. And I'm glad I couldn't go along, big cities and I don't get along.
How fun! Looks like you took full advantage of the few hours you had.
Lookin Good A! Kudos Meg, You've revolutionized his style. :)
What a great place to visit - glad you had a great time together.
Wow, how cool is that? And you didn't get mugged or shot or anything? Yay!
Thanks for the pictures. And truth be told, I was critiquing not coveting those French pans--too much stainless, not enough copper. :-) The knife collection however was very cool. adr
Ahh, the ancient ginko tree. Saved from extinction by Chinese monks, the ginko is a true anachronism.
ok so Aaron has a real twinkle in his eye in these pictures...hmmm...wedding bells soon? they are adorable together maybe we will meet her at the next reunion?
